Novus International is a world leader in animal feed research. This new 42,000-square foot research and development facility contains state-of-the-art biological laboratories for the research, production, and marketing of farm animal feed supplements. OWH provided planning and design for the laboratories as well as offices, a research library, conferencing, and support space to accommodate a staff of over 30 scientists.

Washington University School of Medicine required a world class facility to serve as a gathering place for distinct research functions in Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Positron Emission Tomography Imaging. With very strong site constraints and the technical requirements for imaging equipment siting and containment, a strong planning direction and compositional strategy were instrumental in the development of the architectural concept. The major architectural components of this new facility evolved from the client's requirement to publicly display the technology contained within the structure, yet provide a separation of functions.
